My question involves criminal law for the state of: Washington
The father of my son violated his probation for domestic violence by leaving the country. He is supposed to take drug tests every two weeks, go to work, and attend weekly drug treatment and domestic violence classes, and he does not have permission to leave the country. He is also a convicted felon (although I believe the current charge that he is on probation for is a misdemeanor). I am also filing for child support.
He is staying outside of the U.S. indefinitely.
What resources are available for forcibly bringing him back to the country if I know where he is? Will WA state, or the other country's immigration services extradite him back here if they are informed. Who do I talk to? What are my options?
