Default Petition To Reduce Felony Conviction

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois
In 1986 I was convicted of possesion of cannabis class 4 felony 704-D served 2 years of probation succesfully.
In 1991 I was convicted of felony theft 2 years probation completed sucessfully.
Can I file a petition to reduce these convictions to misdemeanors in order to assist with employment.??

Default Re: Petition To Reduce Felony Conviction

I've never heard of such a mechanism for Illinois.

Talk to a lawyer about the possibility, or look into expungement.
