    Default Emancipation in Canada

What age can a canadian child have themselves emancipated from a parent? Custody and court battles are gettting this child I speak of nowhere and the child desperately wants to be with the father. The child does not agree with her mothers actions ever since she was shipped to her fathers temporarily so her mother (on social services at that) could go across the country to fetch her online lover. The child is 8 years old. I know from my own experience that you can move out at 16 and the cops won't do anything because I did that. I never knew about emancipation. Anyone out there with advice...please reply. Thank you.

    Default Canadian Emancipation Law

I am not aware of any Canadian emancipation law, save for a minor's being able to establish an independent household at 16. (Which is a bit like allowing anybody to become emancipated without the need to resort to court.)

But there is no jurisdiction in the developed world which would permit an 8-year-old to emancipate.

    Default 8 yr old emancipation...

The 8 yr old just wants to live with her father because she gets love and help with homework and proper meals. When the father spoke to a lawyer, he basically said that if the mother hired him he would turn all her negatives into positives. How do you turn being on welfare and sending your kids to school with butter sandwiches so she could save welfare money and child tax credit to fetch her on line lover in egypt because Canada wont let him in?! How do you turn welfare fraud (as she was/is still collecting while out of the country for 14 days) into a positive. I'm at a loss as to what to do...all I know is that this kid is not happy and something needs to be done. The only way she can get away from her mother and be with her dad is to divorce her mother because the lawyers are basically telling dad good luck. More advice please...its appreciated.
