Default Defamation and mental anguish to a juvenile

I need some advice, Please!!!!! I will try to condense this story as best I can. My 14 year old son and two friends, one boy is 10 and the other 13, walked to a Piggly Wiggly grociery store one block from our house. The 10 yr. old boy had $10, I had seen it, and that's what they were going to buy some candy with. Well long story short, they all picked out some candy and then the boy with money couldn't find the money so they put back the candy and walked over to a magazine rack (located close to the door) to look at some magazine. A younger woman who was in charge on this Sunday approached the boys and made them empty their pockets and accused them of shoplifting (they never left the store). The police was called and charges were filed. The cop new the parents of the 13 yr old and called his mom to come and get him from the store. We found out from someone walking by our house that our boy was in trouble and went to the store. The 10 year old got took to the police station in the back of a police car. Now, 2 weeks later the district manager and store manager have reviewed the surveillance tapes and admit that their employees over reacted, but that doesn't take away from my kid and the other 2 boys being humiliated because of someone elses stupidity. What if anything can I do about this??????

    Default False Accusation of Shoplifting

In all honesty? Probably not much. If you are intent on pursuing a legal remedy, discuss your situation with a local lawyer.
