My question involves a reckless driving ticket from the State of Colorado:
In 2006 I received a ticket for reckless driving causing bodily injury (which was do myself) by failing to yield the right of way. I was in Colorado at the time the ticket was issued finishing my last 2 weeks of college. I was told to appear in court 2 months after I received the ticket, but being a poor college student I moved back home to Hawaii (which is where my driver license is from). After sending in a plea by mail and having it denied I was issued a warrant. I recently applied for a temp position and was denied employment because of this warrant.
What do I need to do to take care of the warrant, without going to jail? I recently moved to Minnesota and need to get a state driver license, but I am not sure if the state of Colorado suspended my Hawaii driver license.
Please help!
