I have been with my boyfriend (undocumented) for over 3 years, we have a son and plan on another in the future, were getting started on building our house, I'm a college student with one more year left, and we want to get married. He entered without being inspected, pays taxes under a real ITIN #, and has lots of proof (bank accounts ect) that place him here so I don't think him going back and pretending he was never here makes any sense at all. I plan on going to grad school but I want to get his paperwork squared away before hand in case there should be any reason that he might have to go back and wait (I would want to wait with him and not have to leave school).
Should there be any reason for him to have to go back?
Can my parents be "co sponsers" as I'm a student and certainly wouldn't hit the poverty line (and they are more than willing)?
Is there any way he can work while we are waiting and if any one has a clue what would be the effect of this on college financial aid??? (Am I "dependent" on him once we marry even though he cant legally work, which he does, instead of on my parents who pay all my school or????? This makes absolutely no sense to me and it's not like I feel I can go see my financial counselor about this? My parents would continue to pay anyways.
What would be the best pathway for him?
