    Default MIP In California

My question involves criminal law for the state of: CA

I've gotten legal advice that told me it's better to plead not guilty for an MIP even if you were involved in the illegal activity. how does this work?

also, if you are charged with two misdemeanors for one citing, one for MIP and one for falsely identifying yourself, what kind of outcomes are likely to occur?

    thank you

    Consult an attorney.

The MIP is frequently handled in traffic court and typically involves a fine and a license suspension ... the false identification can land you in custody.
