Default Misrepresentation of Job Role and Duties

    Hello,

I am curious if there any recourse to being hired into a job where the employer lied to me about my job role and duties. I am doing the exact work that I specifically told them I did not want to do and this was why I was leaving my previous job was because of the lack of challenge and I did not want to write up contractual documents etc…I have only been with them for a little over 2 months now…but I left an ok job to step right back into the same boring stuff….The HR person and I had many discussions about this job and she made it clear that I was not going to be doing this type of work etc…I really am upset and I am going through with the paces..But I feel like there should be some sort of recourse for me to peruse other than quitting..and starting all over again with another company…

For example what happens if they fire me for not doing a stellar job on these duties etc? Is there such a thing as a Wrongful hire suit where it’s the employee that was lied too!!

    Thank you in advanced!

Sorry but no, nothing you have posted violates any laws or gives you any legal recourse.
