    Default Collections On Services Rendered

    My question involves collection proceedings in the State of:TEXAS.MY HUSBAND PUT IN A NEW MOTOR IN A TRUCK FOR A MAN.IN RETURN HE WAS SUPPOSE TO PAVE OUR DRIVEWAY.BUT THE HIS PArt WAS ONLY HALF DONE.DO WE HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO WITHHOLD THE TRUCK UNTIL HE PAYS?AND WHAT DO WE DO TO HOLD IT.SO HE WILL GET OUR DRIVE DONE?

    Sue him in small claims court.

    I Dont Know If The First Message Went Through.but Do You Or Anyone Know How To Start That.we Thought About Small Claims Court But We Dont Know How To Go About It.can You Take Him To Any Courthouse?we Live In East Tx Area Near Tyler Tx.and We Dont Have All The Receipts We Spent On That Truck But We Do Have Witnesses.would It Still Hold Up In Court.
