    Default Divorce Decree

As a resident of Virginia is there a stature of limitations on my ability to collect the court's settlement determination from my spouse? It's been 10 years and I only only collected a small portion of the settlement. Have I run out of time?

    Default Re: Divorce Decree

I would go ahead and try to get the settlement.

A statute of limitation means that it is a defense to trying to get it; it is not a bar.
