Speed Bumps On Easements

My husband and I own a landlock piece of property in California. One of our neighbors decided to put speed bumps down the easement. Two of our vehicles will or could be damaged by them. Not everyone is in agreement of these. Where do we start.

It's a competing rights situation: The right you(dominant tenement) hold to use the easement without unreasonable interference(speed bumps) vs the right of the property owner(servient tenement) that you don't overburden the easement (by speeding).

You'll need to come to a compromise or take your chances in court.
