    Default Non-Compete

I had a non compete with a business I started with partners. The company was unable to pay me for over 2 years because of lack of capital. Am I able to break the non compete to work in an industry I started?

    Thanks!

    Default Non-Compete Agreement

Without knowing the terms of the agreement, that's something that is impossible to answer. It may be that their non-payment breached the agreement, freeing you from it; but again, that depends upon its terms. You should consult a local business lawyer.
