Default Using A Mexican Driver's License

After doing a little research it seems fairly easy to obtain a valid license in Mexico. Both Canadian and Mexican licenses are valid in the United States.

If one‘s United States license was suspended and they obtained a completely legitimate Mexican license would they legally be able to drive in the United States with the Mexican license?

Speaking for CA, if your status were suspended here, it would not matter what state or country your license was later issued from, you would be cited - possibly arrested - and your car towed.

Plus, once you take up residency in most any state, you have to get a license there - so, your Mexican or Canadian license would not do you much good at that point.

Unless you plan to remain on permanent vacation, this dodge likely won't work.
