Question A Divorce Question In Oklahoma

I know some may think the question I am going to ask is silly or even tell me to ask my lawyer. However, if someone could answer it I would appreciate it.

I have a lawyer & so does my soon to be ex-husband. My mother scared me today a little because my father divorced her without her acknowledge. I believe they been living separate about 4-5 yrs and all the children were adults. I thought that was the reason he was able to do it in Florida.

Is it possible for my husband to divorce me behind my back?? I do have a child & we have a verbal agreement in place set by our lawyers. He is pushing so hard for the divorce and I am going to give it to him. He just doesn't want to wait and we have gotten into arguments because of it. He thinks my lawyer and I are dragging our feet so my lawyer asked me to not speak to him about the case. I followed her advise and at the moment if we speak in person its about the child and I do sent emails to update him in school events. He wants it so bad and I don't trust him so I am just wondering if it is possible. We were legally separated for 3yrs & reconcile for a year and now we are going to get divorce. The discussion with the lawyers started March but he wanted me to use his lawyer back in February and I told him NO I would get my own. It took me some time to get the money and I hired the lawyer I used the first time.

IHope I have given enough information and I am clear about my question.

    Thank you.

No, not if you have a lawyer. However, you can only drag your feet for so long then his wish will be granted. There is also a minor child involved so make sure the court order for CS is in place. He's just being impatient.
