    Default Fired And Mad

I was fired for shoplifting and this was designed to terminate me. This is over a pkg of cigarettes of which were mine. The pkg was opened and missing 5/6 cigarettes. When told they were opened and mine the request was denied. Do the pkg/evidence need to be produced should i plead not guilty/trial?

Hire a lawyer, plead not guilty, and have a trial.

I'm only guessing but I doubt there was an arrest.

Were you fired or arrested and fired? You are not clear on this. If all they did was fire you its legal to terminate someone for "suspected" theft.

This led me to believe otherwise.

I was not arrested. I was issued a ticket for stealing. But the fact is the pack of cigarettes was open and I was just going to smoke on break. Because I had just settled a lawsuit with the employer, I believe they manufactured this shoplfting to terminate me!

Actually you were arrested. You were cited and released. Consult an Attorney if what you saying is correct they lack the evidence to convict you

One or more of you may clearly understand exactly what happened....but I certainly don't.
