You can move out. If your state does not have a run away law forcing you to move back home. If you are in a safe enviroment and going to school the court and police will do nothing!!!!

What your not saying is anyone giving an unemancipated minor a place to stay without the consent of the parents coud be in legal trouble. Like I said no loopholes!

Oklahoma has NO statute for emancipation, if by emancipation you mean the ability to move out without parental permission. Nor is what the police will do standard throughout the country.

i belive a change is in order, laws to "protect" us can in many cases cause harm in on form or another,so basicly your saying there are no laws concerning minors and rights to self presevation? nor laws that help enable minors to freely establish a life away from there gardians even when proven that one has the capacity to sustain equal or better quaility of life than the one provided to the person by his or her gardians?

I am unfamilar with Ok laws (if any) on subject but Juvie could be one option. Listen its not worth it just wait the few months. Far as already being self ssupporting great you have a head start but the laws don't always fit everyone. However the la wis what it is. It was written to protect there will always be the odd exceptions. That isnt the point. The point is a minor cannot live outside of the parental home without consent of the parents. End story. No loopholes. Last maybe most important do not burn bridges in this case your parents!
