Can I Get Emancipated?

i'm a 16 y/o female in new york. i want to get emancipated. i do not get along wit my parents at all. my father constantly calls me a b*tch. my mother allows this to happen, she does not stand up for me. if i do get emancipated i really want to move to california and live with a lady that i consider mom. i know that this lady will charge me rent. will this be a problem??? i am planning to stay in school and get my diploma seeing i only have less than a year and a half left. i'm working and i can support myself but i only need to live with this lady until i graduate h.s.... can someone please give me info ???



ALSO, THE PERSON I WANT TO LIVE WITH, WILL NOT SUPPORT ME.

There is no way to get around the fact that the state of NY does not have a statute by which a minor can be emancipated.
