When I went to work for my employer I had been out of work for two years to help my mom take care of my dad who had a series of strokes, but the job i had before was head of R and D of a car wash company. I took the job and about two weeks later myself and three others were told we may have to sign a contract. About two months went by and he called all the techs in (3) and said we had to sign a contract. I asked what would happen if we didn't sign and was told don't let the door hit me in the a**. one tech quit and I needed a job. After 3 years i had open heart surgery and a year later he has laid me off. he stated at the time of signing if we parted on good terms the contract would be null and void but this guy is a piece of work. My health is not very good but i do some consulting on existing car washes and would be violating my 3 year contract. he sued my son-in-law and his new boss for over 24,000 bucks and i can't afford that . any thoughts
