    Thanks for the advice to call around. I found a lawyer who normally charges $1500 but is giving me a discount and is only going to charge me $750 because I don't have a record. I'm guessing because its an easy case??

    oh I also asked him about the NASP program and he said it doesn't matter if I do it or not because I will most likely have to do one anyway.

    Yes its easy he may spend 30 minutes on it. He walks in to DA's office they discuss plea deal and he take sit to you for your approval. that is pretty much it other than court date which will be short and sweet with a plea deal already in place

    Then why not do it now before court and get it over with I will suspect judge will smile upon that

    yeah I suppose I will go ahead and do it anyway because the lady I emailed said it is an approved program for my county...whats another $75 on top of everything else I have to pay!

    Whatever program you use will cost money. NASP as you were told is approved by courts in your area so why not get head start

    I know thats why I said whats another $75 its nothing compared to everything else I have to pay. I will definitely be working some extra hours at work!

    Do I need to get my arrest expunged? Can everyone see it when they do a background check? I am planning to get a new job and go back to school and I don't want it to be a problem but if it doesn't matter then I really don't want to spend the $750.
