    Default Pregnancy and Emancipating

My foster daughter is 17 years old and is pregnant. Her nurse told her that she thought in the state of Tn that once you become pregnant then you are considered emancipated. Is this true.

    Default Re: Pragnancy

Pregnancy does not emancipate a minor. She might be allowed to make medical decisions for herself and her child, but that would be the extent of her emancipation.
