Default What To Do About Threatening Emails?

    Hi,

Not sure if this belongs in this forum, but I didn't know where else to ask:

I have received numerous threatening emails, including threats of being shot. Is this a criminal activity on the part of the persons sending these emails to me?

    Thanks

    Default Harassment by Email

If you believe the threats are real, and are intimidated by them, they may well constitute harassment or even "stalking" depending on how it is defined in your jurisdiction.

If you wish to take action, print out the emails and their headers, and make a police report.

Please save your emails, don't delete them. Print out an example and contact your local FBI office. This is most often a Federal crime. Don't give up! Something can be done about it.
