Default Failed To Stop At Stop Sign

About 10:00 p.m. last night, I came to a 4 way intersection with stop sign's on each side. It was pouring rain and flooding, it was also dark, so I could already hardly see. When I came to the stop sign, I could not see it very well before I was approaching it, so I tried braking, and I ended up completely missing the stop sign due to the flooding and rain, so I decided to just keep going. To my surprise I got pulled over by a police officer, after he followed me for about 10 minutes. He made me use a breathalyser, and came back 10 minutes later, and gave me a ticket...

How much do you think the ticket will be?
Will it make my car insurance go up?
    What should I do?

    I also live in Missouri.

What is the code you were cited under?

If it is a state law or county ordinance it carries a 2 point violation.

If it was a municiple ordinance (no accident involved) a 1 point violation.

I'm coming up with a fine $50 to $100 depending on where you are.

Whether or not you will get an increase in your insurance rates would depend on your record and your insurance company's policy.

I cannot really read the officer's handwriting... But, I got...

    IN VIOLATION OF
    105 10T(or 105.107, all I can really read is 105)

DID THEN AND THERE COMMIT THE FOLLOWING OFFENSE. THE FACTS SUPPORTING THIS BELIEF ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Failed To Stop At Stop Sign

He didn't arrest me, didn't search me, didn't hand cuff me. Just made me sign the ticket, and told me to slow down, and pay more attention, and went off, and let me drive away.

People have been telling me it'll be $15.00 max.

    What do you think?

Contact the court in the city the ticket was issued - they'll have all information.

Here in Michigan, my co-worked just went to court on a Faliure to come to a full stop at a stop sign yesterday; 2 points, $115 fine, $45 court costs. OUCH!!!

Yeah, lol, well thank you everyone anyways, but, it is 2 points... and it is $140.00... Just for the ticket, a county sheriff issued it to me. >.<
