Post Guarantor Agreement - North Carolina Statute

I am trying to find the NC Statute that defines the law in respect to guarantor agreements on residential leases.

If I sign a guarantor agreement on our sons new apartment if I am married my husband wouldn't have to sign it according to NC law but I just need to find that in writing.

    Thank you!

Why would you want to do something behind your husband's back?
