Default Downstairs Neighbors Complain About Kids Playing

I've lived in these apartments for about 7 months now, getting ready to sign for another year. I have new neighbors downstairs and from day one they have complained about walking too hard, tv too loud, radio and all kinds of stuff. They have come up to my door on several occasions about my 2 kids, 6 and 3, running and playing. Now I do my best to keep them fom running but sometimes it's just them playing in their room and having fun and I dont feel that I should have to stop them from having fun. I do tell them to becareful on the floor so I dont have to have the neighbors knocking on my door but my kids, especially my 3 yr old, doesnt know what it means to be easy on the floor. I'm trying but I have already got a notice from the management about what they say is exsessive noise when it's not the radio and tv but just the kids playing. Me and the neighbor have gotten into an arguement about it because I dont know what she expects me to do about. The management has told her that there is only so much that they can do and there are somethings that they can't control. I'm not gonna walk on eggshells for her and sure as not going to make my kids sit down and be quiet all day for her. The way I see is that she moved in to a downstairs APARTMENT and she can't expect it all to be sound proof. It's not like I'm blaring my radio and having parties I'm a stay at home mom with 2 kids and just living normal life. What can I do or should I do to keep her from continuing to knock on my door?

I have an still am. What else does she expect me to do? I consistantly remind my kids to be careful on the floor, not to run in the house and take it easy. What else am i suppose to do for her. I dont own a tv, I have an ipod for music when i clean my house. Right now it's spring break for my oldest and she will be at home with my 3 yr old all day and they will be playing. She's expecting too much from an apartment complex, this kinda stuff is something she should have considered when she moved into a downstairs apartment. She's gone as far as banging on my floor when my daughter fell off her bed. She fell for heavens sake, no need to bang on the floor it wasnt intentional but accidental. Give me a break I'm trying.
