I am a freelance photojournalist - during an investigative task on a corrupt Drug task force agent to compile a story I was targeted by police.
The allegations surrounding the agent were proven to be fact and he finally had no choice but to admit it (after a handwritten confession was made public by LEO's)
I was placed under what they term as "louse surveillance" and eventually illegally detained - arrested and questioned about nothing criminal only where I got my information and what I was doing with it.
After I was gestoped I was informed by my landlord that these same two police officers came to his house and told him I was under investigation for bringing meth to the area from out of state two weeks before - they even wanted him to draw a diagram of the floor plan to my house. There is no way they could have creditable information to that effect because it is simply not true!
Is this slander?
