Default Exemptions in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

I filed with chapter 7 under the old law, two weeks ago. In the rush to complete the forms I forgot to list some of my assets so I have to file an amendment. I owe a few acres of property in Colorado (empty lot, worth about $20k) and a private party, that I owe money to, holds the deed as a collateral. Under what section of the C.C.P. can I file for exemption on the property so the trustee won’t force it to sell?

    Default Exemption for Real Estate

So far, you haven't stated a basis upon which one might assert an exemption for the parcel of land - which isn't to say that there might not be one. You should consult a bankruptcy lawyer.
