    Default Help With Bad Roomate

I had a bad roomate situation back in the summer of 2007. To amke a long story short it was either someone went to jail, someone got hurt, or someone move out. I opted to move out. My brother moved in with us which was agreed on by both parties and it went bad. My roomate wanted him out and demanded it. He had no place to go and I didn't want to kick him out on the streets so I said give him 2-3 more weeks. I was wrong I know. My roomate then decided to retaliate and start doing things to push my buttons. She would walk around the house with just a bra and a thong infront of me, my brother, and my boyfriend (multiple times). She pulled her pants down (underwear and all) in front of my brother and I. Played her stereo very loud when I was trying to sleep. Have weird men coming over. She locked herself out of the house one night after a night of drinking and pills and then banged on the door to let her in. She was on the phone when this took place and told the person she was on the phone with that I locked her out!?! SHe was on the phone another night with her mom and was attempting to take down my curtains in the livingroom very forcefully. I told her in a calm manner to stop I would do it myself and it escalated to her screaming on the phone to her mom for me to get away from her and stop touching her, needless to say I was ten feet away from her when she was saying that!?! She told my brother that I was going to pay and she was going to do everything in her power to get me kicked out. I actually spoke to her today and she also told me over the phone that she was mad and didn't want me there so she was going to do everything she could to get me to move. In conclusion, I spoke with a couple lawyers regaurding this and they said basically to figure out what was more important, my happiness or safety. So I chose to move out.
    My question is-
Are there any laws saying that a rommate can do like a self-evicition? Pertaining to what she said about her doing what she could to get me to move. If so what would be the steps or who could I talk to.

You chose to move out. What question are you trying to ask?
