Default Stayed With An Expired J-1 Visa

Soon it will be 2 years since my J-1 visa (exchange visitor) expired.
The 2-year rule does not apply. I am working in the same company (fast food restaurant) I was working when I was an exchange student, with the only difference that I am not a regular crew anymore, but a certified assistant manager. Is there any other way beside marriage, that could help me get accepted as a legal immigrant? (Penssylvania)

Right now you're subject to a ten year period of ineligibility to reenter the U.S., if you leave. There are no amnesty laws. You have no obvious path to gaining status, save through adjustment of status after marriage.

Thank you. One more question though, after marriage, in the most happy cases, in how long is a legal status obtained? and is it really as hard as it shows from the related cases of others?
