Default Adopted child living with friends

I have my friends adopted daughter from colorado living with us in Arizona. She is doing very well here. Her mother signed a release that said she could stay here until June 2006, it IS notorized. Her mother called and for some unknown reason wants her to come home in two weeks. Is there anything I can do to keep the girl here with us? The girl is 15 years old (16 in January). Her mother has 8 other children at home, several of these are adopted as well. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Khart

    Default Keeping Somebody Else's Daughter

You may wish to consult a local family lawyer about the possibility of obtaining a guardianship.
