Default Help With Writing A Letter

I was caught shoplifting, they did not go through the police, I cooperative. I signed the paper and everything. I paid the fine, but the papers say that I am not allowed in the store for 100 years. When I was there talking to the LP person they said that I would be able to write a letter to get the time reduced. can you help me write the letter, also is it common for the time to be so long. I am in Oregon, if that helps.

Writing a letter might not be good idea as it can be used as an admission of guilt if they later press charges. Call Store manager and tell him/her your desire to shop in his/her store again.

It's only 50 years in NJ, but people there don't have as healthy a lifestyle. All that Pizza, cheesesteak, and fries, ya know.

You should write the letter yourself. People can tell when a letter is written by others. It's what's known as a human being's built in BS detector. Just be polite and remorseful and let it come from your heart.

EDIT: Panther, seeing as she already signed an admission and paid a fine, do you think a letter would do any further damage?
EDIT: I see your point. Maybe better to just avoid the store. I was thinking they were just trying to scare her. Maybe they are setting her up though.

I don't really understand what I all agreed to but I seem to remember the individual saying that I should not call, that it is a form of trasspassing

Do as you wish. I do not view a phone call as tresspassing and I doubt the law will either. Why is it so important to shop at this store again?

I do have a copy of what i signed, this story is one of the two grocery stores in the town, it is the cheaper and better story but I have been making do with shopping at the other store ...

The copy of what i signed does not say anything about a phone call, but that is what I think the LP said ....

I know it says 100 years,

Lets paint a picture. LP makes stop really doesn thave all their steps but makes stop anyways (maybe a store with quotas) realize this will never wash even though they have her with goods. The issue Civil Demand and ban her for 100 YEARS!! (give me a break) No charges are filed? Odd if banning for 100 years. She is also told she can write a letter but cannot call its tresspassing? Nothing makes sense! Shes is either wrong, lieing or being set up. Paying a fine is not a signed admission as Civil Demand is well Civil. There is too much about this that I find odd.

I got the paper from them that says a civil demand, I payed the fine, they did not call the cops, the paper says that I can not enter the store for 100 years, I think that I will just call the store tomorrow, however I am still not sure about all of this
