    Default What Is A Conditional Discharge

    This happened in NY. I would like to know what does 1yr conditional discharge mean? Also I would like to know if this will be sealed on my arrest record and if not can it be expunged?

    With a conditional discharge, if you meet the conditions of your sentence the case is dismissed at the end of the period of probation. It does not automatically seal your record. You can read about New York's expungement law in this forum. (For instance.) It looks like you would qualify for expungement after the discharge.
