Exclamation Own My Own Home, House Guest From Hell

I could really use some advice. Please bear with me, cause even though he has only been here almost 3 months, it has been hell.

I own my own 4 br/2 bath house in Florida. I have owned the home for almost 7 years, and have had 2-3 roommates with never any major issues, until now. I posted a listing on Craig's list for a roommate to occupy the empty room in my home. We recently had to replace the HVAC and really needed the money.

Before giving out the address, I usually try to have a phone conversation or two, or an email exchange. This guy sent the greatest emails. The one he sent before I gave him my address indicated he was recently divorced, he had a gay brother that died of AIDs (I had listed that 2 roommates were homosexual, as I wanted to be upfront an honest), that he left a room cleaner then when he entered it, that he took showers at gym (my listing was specific as to looking for someone that worked 2nd or 3rd shift, as to not inconvenience roommates using same BR and getting ready for work). All lies as I know well know.

I asked him to sign a lease, he stated he did not want to, as he just went through a divorce (turns out he was married 6 months, first marriage, age 52) and only intended to stay for a couple of months.

Turns out, it was all lies. This guy brings women home from bars and he doesn't even know/remember their names. He leaves doors open in house, including entry doors ( I have two cats). He is loud and obnoxious. My 67 year old father lives with me, and has been been woken up numerous times while this guy has held late night phone conversations.

Recently, he has gotten very confrontational. He usually comes home drunk and starts trouble. I suffer from acute anxiety and can no longer deal with the stress. This guy has made rude comments to my neighbors, flicked a fellow roommate's guest in the back of the head, got into shouting matches with my father and I ( we are very easy going people, which every previous roommate would back up), caused neighbors to run over or consider calling police, etc.

After some research, I decided it was time for a 7-Day Notice of Termination for continuous disturbances. I have witnesses, including neighbors as to his vocal abuse. He has been served via email and has responded. He claims he can't find a place in such short notice, yet he usually sleeps in the afternoon and dates and bar hops at night.

In the last 2 months, he has had 5-6 women overnight, that he has picked up in bars. Most of us are in bed by 12 pm, and this just has to stop.

Most of everything I have seen online regarding roommate disputes and evictions is for rental properties, sub-lets, co-tenants, etc. At this point, I am prepared to change the locks, toss his stuff, come hell or high water. I no longer feel safe or comfortable in my own home. This guy is 6'6", 290 lbs, and has recently taken to getting in my face. Tonight, my neighbor and friend spoke up and told him to back off.

What are the legal ramifications? What if he doesn't physically leave my home at the end of the 7 days notice? It has gotten to the point that I feel I need a firearm to protect myself and property if need be.

Someone please help! Any advice is appreciated. Even if it is just tips to "encourage" his moving.
