I got this ticket while riding my motorcycle in Whatcom co, WA and I have some questions about how I should proceed. My biggest fear is what this will do to my insurance rates because by June I will be off my parents insurance and on my own (I'll be 22 going on 23). I searched this forum alot and found some good but confusing info.

Here are the circumstances: 38 in a 25, I'm doing the physics and checking with a GPS to see if my bike will even do that on the short road I was on.

Issues I see with the ticket:
-The location is wrong, but I'm not sure how specific it needs to be. It says I was in the 2500 block of X road, when I actually entered the road way at the 2300 block and moved away from the 2500 block.
-Under exempt vehicle it says "RV" what does that mean?
-My jaw dropped when the officer told me I was doing 38. If I had to guess I would have said 30 tops because of how short the road is (no room to accelerate that fast).
-How effective are radar against motorcycles?
-Its my first ticket!

Issues with me:
-I was literally on my way to get new tabs for the bike because they had expired 25 days ago, The officer noticed this and told me he chose not include that on the ticket. I got the tabs later that day.

Should I contact the cop and ask him some follow up questions?
If I take the ticket to court what are the options?
-What does a deferral do?
-Do I need to subpoena the officer?
-Can the expired tabs come back to haunt me?
-No traffic school in WA?

Anything else I've forgotten?

Thanks for any help!
