Default Immigrant Wife Abandoned Our Marriage

I am a US citizen and married an immigrant from Trinidad. I signed an affidavit of support and she received her conditional permanent resident card (green card). As soon as she received it, she abandoned me. What can I do? I am still responsible for her medical coverage? Can I divorce her? Will she get alimony? Please help me?

    Default Abandoned by Wife

Of course you can divorce her. The laws of spousal support (alimony) vary by state, and whether or not she qualifies for support will depend upon state laws and the facts of your case. You are responsible under the affidavit of support until she either becomes a citizen or leaves the country.
