Question Changing My Child's Name To His Fathers In Missouri

When I had my son his father was not in the picture, so I gave my son my last name with his fathers name being a part of his middle name. Since then his father and I have gotten back together and are having another child. This child will have his fathers last name and we want our first child to have his last name also. what do I do to get my last name legally dropped and for his fathers last name to become legal??

A: You need a court to change his name.

Try this (and I am NOT advertising for this website; I have no idea who they are. You can copy and paste the info and you don't have to download it.)
