Emacipation Of 17 Year Old In Kentucky

I will be 17 in April and wish to leave my house. I'm not sure how easy it will be to do so...Can any one help me out? I have a steady job, a place to live, and can support myself. How easy or hard will it be?
Please help...anybody.

They make me feel SO horrible about myself. I already have a pretty low self esteem and it seems like everything I do is wrong. I can never seem to make them happy. For example, I don't really play any sports or anything, I make really good grades though. My dad got mad and said that I needed to do something active so I started Marching Band. With Band we would travel at least an hour away every other saturday and all he ever did was complain about it and he NEVER congradulates me on ANYTHING!!! And my mom is the same way. All we ever do is fight. My parents don't even know me. I found out he was my real dad when I was 8 years old. Ever since then when I moved in with them I've pretty much been raising myself...and when I try to talk to him about it, He just tells me that I'm being unappreciative and yells at me some more. And to top it off, any time I get in trouble he spanks me...and leaves these horrible bruses and welps all over my butt and legs. Once he even broke a wooden paddle on my butt...

If your being abused contact CPS. Nothing you posted is grounds for emancipation if KY had a statute. Call CPS

Abuse is not a reason for emancipation of a minor and as has been stated, it does not appear that is an option in KY.

It's not that I'm being abused...I don't think. I mean I just want to be able to have my own place and not have to feel like im a nothing. I can take care of myself I have a job and I've been saving my money for a LONG time.

When you are 18 or gain your parents' consent to move out, you can have those things.
