    Default Right To Hunt Laws

I have a felony for drugs 20 years ago(no firearm charges)in oregon. Can the state of oregon affect montana's right to hunt laws? I have read different laws & most have a non-violent clause & also reading about time passed. Any info on this ?

Oregon can't prosecute you for possessing a gun in Montana. However, both Montana and the federal government can prosecute you if you possess a gun in violation of Montana or federal law, and your Oregon felony conviction can trigger ineligibility to own or possess a firearm in other states.
