Could someone help me out? I got a paper in the mail stating that I violated parole by not telling of my job discharge and that I stopped my councelling. I didnt stop the councelling because I wanted to, I couldnt afford it. This is new to me...I have never done this before. Can someone please give me some advice of what is going to happen in court?![]()
I'm guessing since you said that, I may go back? I dont know how all this works and if I go back I will lose everything...my kids..family...
You signed papers with your conditions of parole so you were almost certainly advised of all these conditions. Heed the papers and do what it says. You may have to go back, or you may just have to go in and speak to your parole officer and give him the sob story. Understand, however, that everyone in your boat has a sob story and I heard the same tale of woe (yes, BOTH the job and the counseling excuses) just last week and I am NOT a parole officer!
Think of the PO as an intimate confidant or a diary. If you lose your job, tell him ... if you win the lottery, tell him ... if you are diddling a woman other than your wife/girlfriend, tell him ... The alternative is prison.

Well I would like to say thank you for your info. It isnt a sob story. I truthfully did not know that is what had to be done especially if I have a part time job as well. Im not looking to be told that I am crying about it.
