Default Abused, What Can I Do

I was 14 years old in Pennsylvania when a family friend abused me several times over the course of several months. I had never told anyone about this and, well, 9 years have passed now. I want to know what I can do to correct the wrong that's been done to me. I've been doing some searching on the laws surrounding this, and I'm not sure what to make of the PA statutes of limitations law that I found:

"Any sexual offense committed against a minor who is
less than 18 years of age any time up to the later of the
period of limitation provided by law after the minor has
reached 18 years of age or the date the minor reaches 50
    years of age. "

He touched me and looking at the laws it would fall under indecent assault. But it seems like the statutes of limitations have already expired since it's been more than 2 years now since I've turned 18. Am I interpreting this correctly? Or does it mean that I can turn him in anytime up until I'm 50 years old?

    Please help.

"The later of" means the later date - so when you say "the later of" two years after you turn 18 (the age of twenty) or the age of 50, the applicable limitations period is when you reach the age of 50.

Even if the statute of limitations had expired, making a police report can be a sensible thing to do - it can help protect others.

Exaclt right. By making a report, if anyone else comes forward and a record of report made, they will be more inclined to investigate.
