Okay let me start off by saying I made a mistake by parking illegally in a spot where I could get towed. I didn't realize this until it was too late and I willingly paid the fee for the towing since I realize I was wrong for parking there.

Anyways, the problem I have with the situation is that when I went to pick up my car from the towing company. I was on my way back with my car that I had just picked up and the engine light on my car came on which means my engine is overheating. I then proceeded to pull over and see what was wrong, when I looked under my car I noticed my radiator was badly bent and the coolant was leaking out of my car. Since I realized I could no longer drive like this I called a different towing company and had them tow me to my Chevrolet dealer.

When the tow truck driver got there he saw the radiator was bent and immediatley said the only way that could have happened was by the previous tow truck company improperly attaching the J-Hook and bending my radiator (the mechanic at the Chevy dealer agreed with that). After hearing them say this I called the original towing company and explained them the situation. They told me that the car was leaking when they picked it up (which I know is a lie to cover themselves) and they were not at fault. After talking to several different people there I got to the manager who said they will not pay for a new radiator. I then told them I was going to contact my lawyer and I asked for his name. He refused to give his name and said he wanted to be reffered to as "an employee." He then proceeded to hang up on me and when I called back there was no answer.

I am a college student with little money and all I ask of them is that they fix the radiator which THEY bent. I am not sure if I have any type of case in small claims court but any advice on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
