    Default Can A Person Legally Remove Their Name From A Joint Account With A Negative Balance

    Need some help, Does any one know if a person can legally remove their name from a joint banking account with a negitive balance?

    IF the bank allows them too, yes. However, it's almost a guarantee that the bank will want the negative balance paid before they will allow a name to be removed.
