Expungement Limitations In Texas

I was charged with DWI and the case was dismissed - never got to trial. Is there a limitation period before the expungement? Do I have to wait 2 years before it could be done?

I am also on DA probation (2 years, ends soon) for Class A misdeamenor (assault). Here I know that I have to wait 2 years after completing it to get a non-disclosure. But it is my understanding that it should not interfere with expungement of DWI case. Am I right?

Thank you for your answer. However, I think I was not clear. I am asking about the expungement of my arrest record and such for DWI. As the case was dismissed that could be expunged. Could it be done now or do I have to wait 2 years? Thank you.

According to the Texas expungement law firm **********.com, you can expunge arrests that did not lead to a conviction two years after the the arrest date. You are not eligible if you have a felony conviction within the 5 years prior.
