Default Do You Recommend Sealing My Record?

I recently recieved a misdemeanor for having one undersized fish. The fish was too small so I recieved a citation and a 105.00 fine. The judge withheld adjudication. Do you think that I should seal my record of this so that on job applications I do not have to disclose this. This is the only thing on my record. The state attorney in Fl said that it is very minor and didnt think that it would affect my hiring in the future. I am a junior at the University of FLorida so it is important to me. Thanks

I'm in agreement with the attorney.

Most employers will ask about the circumstances surrounding your charge. "One of my fish was too small, so I was fined and adjudication was withheld" will likely elicit some rolling of eyes, possibly an exclamation of the silliness of the charge, and not much else.
