Illegal Possession Of Alcohol

Ok ok here we go. I was arrested for illegal possession of alcohol in Indiana. The county was morgan county and it's pretty big. I have had 2 PI's, 1 OWI, possession of Marijuana, and a citation for drinking. These events have all occurred in the past three years of my life. I am 20 right now. Yes, I know I am a dumb ass. I was just wondering if the past events would affect the outcome of this one. I am really hoping for a fine only. 1 PI was in this same county nothing else. I can't afford an attorney because of financial issues and they cost to much. The bail bondsman told me that he thinks I will get a fine but I only told him about the 1 PI in that county. I have reason to believe it will be a fine because the time of court is not till 5:30pm and I have only been to court in the mornings. The only time I had one around that time was for the fine I had to pay for the drinking citation. I would really appreciate any information as to what others believe I will recieve. Thanks in advance

If I were a judge hearing your case, given that your record suggest that you are an alcoholic and out of control in your addiction, if I didn't impose jail it would be because I suspended your jail time conditioned upon your successful completion of rehab, frequent participation in AA, or something similar.

Thanks for the reply although it may be bad something is better than none. Thankfully I live in Indiana and it's awesome . I plead guilty and I got a fine woohoo. I actually got 5 bucks back because of my cash bond!
Sorry if it dissapoints some who believe it should be harsher.

Actually I have grasped the reality of this. I am just happy I don't have to go through prohbation and more alcohol classes because I don't have the money for it. I have been trying to change my ways. I work and goto Ivy Tech, for all who think i'm just a bum. Regardless I do understand I have a drinking problem and i'm doing everything I can to take care of it.

No one here called you a bum, nor do I think that.

Personally, I think it is great if you come away from this situation and learn from it. Too many people continue to get into trouble for an addiction that they don't seem to be able to overcome.

Understanding you have a problem is a big step. Doing something about it is even bigger.
