Default Worker's Compensation Benefits If You Leave Employer

In the state of North Carolina if you choose to leave the employer that you you filed the Workman's Comp. claim with, is the employer still responsible for the claim after you leave?

You aren't indentured to an employer merely because you had a work injury. Your medical benefits should not be affected by changing jobs.
