Most courts have a standard form subpoena which may be completed by a litigant. I browsed the New Hampshire rules of civil procedure, but did not see a rule governing the issuance of subpoenas. You may well have to submit the completed subpoena form to a court for approval. The clerk's office should be able to advise you as to the availability of standard form subpoenas, and give you instruction as to whether you would have to submit it to the court for approval prior to service.
