Default How To Satisfy A Judgement

I hope someone can tell me just how to handle this.
I am doing my best to clear old debts.
I have two judgments from two places. One I called they sent the info all is happy.
The other however I called the law firm Wolproff and Abrahamson. They had the other judgment They inform me however that GE took the debt back 2 months after they won it.
So I call GE. They have NO clue about the judgment but say if I pay them 916 a good chunk less than that judgment that they will close the case.
I fear giving them that money and then they try adding interest or not send a notice of Satisfaction.

No one seems to know who I am to pay so that this judgment is taken care of and down the road when I start working again (I am disabled) they will not just show up and take my money.

I called FTA they said to send a letter of dispute but I am unsure what to say in a letter since the ones I seen online state I do not owe Which I am NOT saying I do not owe I am saying I do not owe BOTH
    If that makes sense.
Any help is welcome I am Blessed to have a few dollars coming in to be able to do this and would like it all put behind me.
To be honest though I am ready to just say heck with it.
I have never fought to get debt collectors to take my money before usually they are calling me .

    Thank you

Ask the court clerk if the court will take the money and give you a satisfaction of judgment.

Be prepared for a NO, but I have actually seen this happen.

I actually did ask would it be possible to pay there and they stated they do not take payments only letters stating debt is satisfied by the company it was awarded to.

Good thought though as I really am just ready to toss in the towel on this.

Someone said mediation. I called the local group and they said they would not know who to send it to since no one wants to actually own the judgment.

    Whole 'nother critter.

You said you wanted to SATISFY the judgment.

"Making payments" is NOT satisfying the judgment.

I misspoke in my above post
I asked could I pay it there since I could not locate the company who was to get it and would they than close it out. I am assuming she knew that I meant in full as I originally said to her and had left her know in the conversation that I wished to pay this and get it closed while I had the money to do so. I will though attempt to call back to court house tomorrow and ask in better language to be sure.

Sorry about that. I tend to get ahead of myself.
