    Default Retail Fraud & Criminal Record

    My daughter,22yr. was charged with retail fraud, Under 200 dollars. It was actually 30.00. She plead guilty today. This is her first time in trouble. Is there anyway of getting this off her record? Please Help!

    she'll have a conviction record for a few years at least. if she doesn't break the law again she'll be able to have the conviction expunged. it helps ensure that she stays strait for that period of time.

    however, for police purposes arrest records are permanent, just so they know who they're dealing with. that said, only the police can access those records, no college or employment background checks will have it come up.
