    Default Leaving Child Alone

Were the kids playing with a nail gun, or something? Obviously there are times when it is not safe to leave children unattended, even to go to the bathroom (e.g., if you have little kids in a swimming pool or splash pool). But c'mon - who would expect parents to consistently bundle the kids into the bathroom with them every time they have to go?
