ARIZONA - In Febuary 2007, I was quoted approximately 2000.00 to repair my 97' ford tauras. The service rep. "Linda" fax me the quote to my job. I was hesitant to sign it because the car was barely worth the cost to fix but I signed it and faxed it back. I got a call the next day from Linda stating that i had to come in with a down payment before they would do work because of the extreme cost. I agreed and my wife went into the dealership and gave Linda $800.00 cash. Linda gave her a receipt and told her she would call when it was done. Another day later, Linda called me again and this time she said the quote was now 3000.00. I told her that the NEW repair cost exceeded the cost of the car and if they could now repair it at the price that i SIGNED AND APPROVED. I wanted my money and car back and I would resource my options. Linda told me that my 800.00 was used for the estimate time and i had 0 coming back and the car would still be in the same condition that it arrived in. I told her that if they did not repair my car for what i approved and paid down on that i would see them in court. They have NEVER contacted me that was just about 1 YEAR AGO!!!!!
